Choosing an ironer for sheets and flatwork
Assess the workload
Measure the washed textile width and identify the fabric, sheet, duvet cover and table linen quantities per shift. Match working width and feeding arrangements to the actual items, rather than selecting by machine size alone.
Compare equipment under matching conditions
Compare published working width, cylinder dimensions, heating options, speed and the conditions attached to output figures. Incoming moisture, fabric and feeding consistency affect results. Request a textile trial before selecting a model.
Prepare for installation
Plan feeding and receiving areas, operator space, access and service clearances. Confirm the selected heating utilities and any intended feeder or folder integration with the equipment supplier.

Only compare figures with their stated conditions, including textile type and incoming moisture. Figures measured under different conditions may describe different workloads.
